In May, anti-religious and pro-abortion graffiti was written on a Catholic church in Boulder, Colorado.
According to a statement to Fox News, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of vandalism at the church on Wednesday morning, May 4th, 2022.
Photos show the chapel defaced with signs reading “bans off our bodies” and “my body my choice.” The walls also had several anarchist symbols spray-painted on them.
The sheriff’s office stated that it is looking into all available evidence, including any security video. According to BCSO, there may have been several suspects involved.
Graffiti supporting abortion rights was written on the walls of a Boulder Catholic church.
The Sacred Heart of Mary Church had previously been vandalized. In September, a similar situation occurred. Although the sheriff’s office claimed that the crimes were similar, it could not prove a connection.
This time, the vandalism occurs as the abortion debate consumes the nation in response to a leaked draft of a Supreme Court judgment that will effectively overturn Roe v. Wade.
Since it was released on Monday night, protests have started nationwide, pitting demonstrators on opposing sides of the argument against one another.
